CPI Rose by 2.0% Year-On-Year in Zhejiang in June

The reporter learned from the Survey Office of the National Bureau of Statistics in Zhejiang that in June, the consumer price index (CPI) in Zhejiang rose by 2.0% year-on-year, an increase of 0.2 % from the previous month, and returned to the “2” era. Meanwhile, the CPI rebounded compared with the last month, rising by 0.1%.


According to the analysis, CPI in Zhejiang rose in June due to the growth in the price of the refined oil and the liquefied petroleum gas under the influence of the increase in the price of the international crude oil. At the same time, due to the impact of the summer peak season, tourism prices rose slightly.


In addition, due to the adverse impact of the high temperature and the plum rain weather on the growth of vegetables, the price of fresh vegetables in June increased by 3.1% month-on-month. At the same time, the price of fresh melons fell by 8.0%, the price of aquatic products fell by 1.8%, the price of eggs rose by 0.8%, and the price of livestock meat rose by 0.2% (the price of pork rose by 0.5%).
