Recently, Zhejiang Provincial Office, State Administration of Taxation and Zhejiang Local Taxation Bureau jointly organized the“One Belt and One Road”policy presentations. Experts from Zhejiang Provincial Office, State Administration of Taxation and Zhejiang Local Taxation Bureau as well as business representatives gathered in Hangzhou to share the relevant experiences of “going global” enterprises in the province, to interpret the corporate policies of these enterprises, and to introduce the cases of the prevention of taxation risks of these enterprises, so as to provide advice for more than 100 “going global” enterprises across the province.
By 2017, the total investment of Zhejiang businessmen in countries along the “Belt and Road” has reached 19.19 billion US dollars, and the “Belt and Road” initiative has greatly promoted China’s overseas investment and foreign cooperation. However, with the increase in the scale and number of “going global” enterprises in the countries along the “Belt and Road”, the difficulties concerning taxation faced by these enterprises are increasing.
In recent years, the provincial taxation departments in our province have actively deepened cooperation to serve the “going global” enterprises, by signing memoranda with relevant departments to share the taxation-related information of “going out” enterprises, by establishing cooperation mechanisms with business and other departments to service overseas investment companies, and by jointly making an inventory of “going global” enterprises to do a good job in the verification of the basic information of the “going global” taxpayers.
