Singapore is an important partner of Zhejiang Province, he said. In recent years, promoted by the ZSECC, the economic and trade contact between the two parties has become more and more frequent. This year, at the 15th anniversary of the ZSECC, it is hoped that both parties take this as a new start point for further cooperation in high-tech zone development, trade and investment, port logistics, information technology, cross-border e-commerce, and cultural and educational exchanges for the young people. Taking advantages of the important platforms such as the China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and the Hangzhou Bay Economic Zone, we can forge a group of demonstration projects of cooperation to complement each other's advantages and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Shen expressed her willingness to further expand the cooperative scope with Zhejiang within “the Belt and Road” framework, and to raise the cooperative levels so as to further promote the friendly relationship between the two parties.
