Premier Li Keqiang Attends Panel Discussion with Zhejiang Deputies; Wang Chen, Che Jun, Yuan Jiajun Are Present

  Premier Li Keqiang attended the panel discussion with NPC deputies from Zhejiang Province Wednesday morning, and expressed his hope that Zhejiang deepen the “one-stop service” reform, further stimulate market vitality and social creativity, and march ahead in higher-quality development, so as to bring more benefit to people’s life with the fruit of development.

  Wang Zhen, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Vice-Chanirman and general secretary of the 12th NPC standing committee, and Che Jun, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial CPC Committee and chairman of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, and Yuan Jiajun, vice-chairman of the Provincial CPC Committee and governor of Zhejiang, were present at the discussion.

  After hearing the speeches of the deputies, Li Keqiang said that the proposal of the Constitution revision is a great measure in carrying out the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and sticking to the principles of governing the country by the Constitution, and that he is totally in agreement with the draft constitutional amendments. In the past five, Zhejiang has made extraordinary achievements in reform, development and economic transformation, Li said. He hoped that the province should unite around the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, with General Secretary Xi Jinping at its core, to carry out its policies, together with the directives of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. The premier also called for the transformation of government functions by deepening the “one-stop service” and strengthening the supervision to further stimulate market vitality and social creativity. Momentum for economic growth, including new industries such as the digital economy, should be accelerated, while traditional industries should be upgraded to promote higher-quality development in Zhejiang province. The private sector, and small and micro enterprises, should be supported by stronger efforts to upgrade entrepreneurship and innovation, which will help boost employment and improve people's livelihoods, Li said.

  Che Jun, Yuan Jiajun, Xu Liyi, Lin Yi, Qiu Dongyao, Li Shufu, Fang Donghua and other deputies also spoke at the discussion.
