All Cases Transferred by the Central Environmental Inspectorate Conclude and Go Public

By the end of 4 p.m. on September 25, the second Central Environmental Inspectorate has handed over to the province a total of 6,920 petition cases through letters and visits in 33 batches, with 253 priority cases, and all cases have been reported concluded.
Among the 6,920 petition cases, 7,289 units were ordered to be rectified, 4,401 units were investigated by the judicial organ and were to be penalized with a fine of 230. 3053 million yuan, 102 cases were investigated by the judicial organ, 73 people were sent to administrative detention and 72 people were placed in criminal detention. In terms of accountability, 767 people in the province have been talked with, among whom 645 are civil servants (including members of two village committees and heads of state-owned enterprises) and 6 units. 318 people and 30 units have been held accountable, including 1 cadre at the municipal level, 79 at the section level, and 238 under the section level. A total of 132 people were criticized in a circulated notice, 157 were given an admonishing talk, 20 people were punished according to Party and administration disciplines and 9 people were handled by the organizations.
Through the audit of Zhejiang Provincial Petition Group, the 6920 petition cases through letters and visits in the 33 batches transferred to the province by the Central Environmental Inspectorate have been handled in line with the standards, and they have been presented to the public.
