Central Environmental Protection Supervision Group Hands over 33rd Batch of Petition Letters to Zhejiang

At 10 a.m. on September 18, the Central Environmental Protection Supervision Group handed over the 33rd batch of 147 petition letters to Zhejiang, in which no key ones are included.
According to the classification of pollution types, the 33rd batch of 147 petition letters is divided as follows: 73 on water, 41 on air, 7 on noise, 5 on garbage, 4 on oilsmoke, 4 on ecology, 1 on dust, and 12 on other pollutants. In terms of regional distribution, 23 petition letters are for Hangzhou, 14 for Ningbo, 10 for Wenzhou, 6 for Huzhou, 12 for Jiaxing, 19 for Shaoxing, 36 for Jinhua, 6 for Quzhou, 1 for Zhoushan, 11 for Taizhou and 10 for Lishui (including 1 letter for two regions).
As present, the Central Environmental Protection Supervision Group has turned over 33 batches of 6,920 petition letters to Zhejiang, of which 192 are repeated ones. As of 4 p.m. on September 18, 6,920 have been turned over to local governments and provincial departments, 6,748 letters have been reported handled. 7,212 units have been urged to rectify the problems, and 4,279 units have been punished legally with a total fine of 222.3433 million yuan. 105 cases have been filed for investigation, 70 people have been under administrative detention, and 68 under criminal detention.
