Central Environmental Protection Supervision Group Hands Over 32nd Batch of Petition Letters to Zhejiang

At 9 a.m. on September 12, the Central Environmental Protection Supervision Group handed over the 32nd batch of 237 petition letters to Zhejiang, in which no key ones are included.
According to the classification of pollution types, the 32nd batch of 237 petition letters is divided as follows: 87 on water, 80 on air, 26 on noise, 12 on oilsmoke, 9 on garbage, 4 on ecology, 2 on dust, 1 on soil and 16 on other pollutants. In terms of regional distribution, 49 petition letters are for Hangzhou, 30 for Ningbo, 19 for Wenzhou, 5 for Huzhou, 15 for Jiaxing, 39 for Shaoxing, 42 for Jinhua, 10 for Quzhou, 2 for Zhoushan, 24 for Taizhou, 4 for Lishui (including 1 letter for two regions).
As of 4 p.m. on September 12, 32 batches of 6773 petition letters have been turned over to local governments and provincial departments. 5314 letters have been reported handled. 6398 units have been urged to rectify the problems, and 3620 units have been punished legally with a fine of 194.5578 million yuan. 99 cases have been filed for investigation, 69 people have been under administrative detention, and 62 under criminal detention. Besides, 694 people and 5 units have received admonishment interviews, and 280 people and 30 units have been held accountable, including 1 department leader, 66 carders of section-level, and 213 people below section-level.
