2017-07-20 10:17:35

On the afternoon of July 17, Zhejiang’s democratic parties officially launched their special democratic supervision on the “at-most-one-time presence” reform in Hangzhou. In May 2017, all the provincial committees of Zhejiang’s democratic parties successfully completed their change of leadership, which marked the new beginning of the democratic parties in “serving the overall interests around the central task”. The democratic parties’ special democratic supervision on the “at-most-one-time presence” reform is one of the most important measures that the provincial united front has carried out in boosting up the reform and actively implementing the spirit of the 14th Provincial Party Congress. It is also the largest democratic supervision activity in recent years.
At the launching ceremony, the United Front Work Department of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee released the work contact arrangements for the special democratic supervision of the democratic parties. The participants said that they should go directly to the front to learn about the progress of the reform and the feedback of the masses. Public wisdom should be pooled and joint efforts made to solve difficulties and make improvements through practical exploration, gaining effective experience for democratic supervision of the reform. The democratic parties also should raise their capacities for mobilization, integration and action, effectively promoting the reform through proper methods in collaboration with other relevant departments.
The provincial committees of the democratic parties also expressed that they will contribute their efforts in building a stronger Zhejiang and implementing the spirit of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, in a bid to provide Zhejiang elements and an excellent example for the multi-party cooperation led by the Communist Party of China.
