Provincial FCDR HQ Maintains Level IV Emergency Response

According to the news from Provincial Meteorological Observatory, rain showers still hit most areas of Zhejiang on June 14 with an obvious decrease of the rainfall. The plum rains belt moves towards the south of Zhejiang, resulting in the rainstorm hit. Provincial FCDR HQ maintains Level IV emergency response.
Apparent rainfall continues to occur in Zhejiang province since the set-in of plum rains. From 8 o’clock on June 9 to 14 o’clock on June 13, provincial total surface rainfall reaches 118 millimeters around 4 days, which takes up 39% of the average annual plum rains amount. The heavy rain, featured by great rainfall, high intensity and concentrative location and time, caused partial waterlogging in Songyang, Kaihua, Longyou, Chunan, Yongkang, Panan and other places, accompanying landslide, dike damage, flooded farmland and water-penetrated farmhouse. No casualty was reported so far.
As of 14 o’clock on June 13, except that the water level of eastern plain river network is slightly higher than the warning level in Hangzhou, Jiaxing and Huzhou, the water level of other major rivers and reservoirs is below flood (alert) water level.
Provincial FCDR HQ continues to maintain Level IV emergency response. Hangzhou, Jinhua and other 8 cities issued a Level IV emergency response. Totally 5,019 people in dangerous areas were transferred around the whole province.
