Yuan Jiajun Met with Romanian Guests

On the afternoon of June 7, Yuan Jiajun, Deputy Secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Acting Governor of Zhejiang province, met with Victor Punta, former Prime Minister of Romania and honorary president of Home to Chinese in Romania, and his delegation in Hangzhou.
Yuan extended his warm welcome to the guests and introduced the province’s economic and social development. He said that there was frequent economic and trade cooperation between Zhejiang province and Romania, which was shown by the long-standing friendly exchanges between the province and Brașov county and Ilfov county in particular. Good foundation and great potential for collaboration exist for the both parties. He hoped that President Punta would take this opportunity, in the framework of The One Belt and One Road Initiative and Sino-middle-eastern European countries“16 + 1 cooperation”, to make full use of China-CEEC Investment and Trade Fair, so that mutual benefit and win-win result can be gained through close cooperation in business, tourism, education and culture. Mr. Punta expressed his gratitude to Zhejiang’s warm reception and appreciated the economic and social achievement Zhejiang has gained. He also expressed his willingness to boost the practical cooperation between the two sides to complement each other with advantages and promote common development.
Mr. Victor Punta’s visit is to attend China-CEEC Investment and Trade Fair in Zhejiang.
