Yuan Jiajun Meets with Tai Guests in Hangzhou

On May 24, Yuan Jiajun, Acting Governor and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, met with Chiang Mai Governor Pawin Chamniprasart and his delegation from Tailand. Yuan extended his warm welcome to the guests and introduced the province's economic and social development. He said that China and Thailand are geologically close and culturally interlinked, and the people are in good relationship. In recent years, the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has been frequent and shows huge potential.  It is hoped that in the framework of " the One Belt and Road" Initiative, Zhejiang and Chiang Mai will further build a friendly platform to deepen the cooperation between the two parties and jointly promote the cooperation and development in the fields of industry, commerce, tourism and culture, so as to better complement each other, benefit each other and promote win-win situation. Mr. Pawin Chamniprasart appreciated Zhejiang’s warm reception and expressed his willingness to further deepen exchange and cooperation with Zhejiang in various fields and constantly promote the friendly relations between two sides to a higher new level.
