2017-12-11 09:20:53

Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government and the Standardization Administration of China (SAC) held a joint province-and-ministry working meeting in Hangzhou on December 6, revealing that 36 major tasks and 18 important projects in the first phase implementation plan of the pilot comprehensive standardization reform have been basically completed since both sides signed a memorandum of cooperation last December. Working collaboratively with the SAC, Zhejiang has achieved breakthroughs in reforming the management system, improving the working mechanism, developing a co-governing model, constructing a new standardization system, and releasing the“standardization+”effect.
The next stage of the reform will focus on the implementation of the important remarks in General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report to the 19th CPC Congress on quality and standardization development. Sticking to the directions for “serving the supply-side structural reform, keeping up with the people’s needs for a better life, and making progress in modernizing the capacity for standardization governance”, Zhejiang is to achieve 5 new breakthroughs in institutional mechanism construction, replication and promotion of reform achievements, standardization market development, interconnection of standards, and standardization infrastructure construction.
